YEAH BROTHER! It’s time for WRESTLEFEST!

When: Friday, June 23. Doors at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Rose Music Hall
Tickets: $10

Columbia, the first thing you need to do is shut up and listen to what the Rose is cooking! On Friday, June 23, we’re teaming up with Logboat Brewing Company and Dynamo Pro Wrestling to throw the ultimate costume party and celebration of all things wrestling.

This night will destroy all other parties before it. We’ve got everything you want all in one place — live music from punk rock champion belt winners Dangerbird from St. Louis, DJ King of Columbia and DJ Requiem. And don’t forget, the wrestling event you’ve all been waiting for! Two of Missouri’s top contenders, Brandon Aarons and Elvis Aliaga will go HEAD TO HEAD to win the first ever Wrestlefest Title Belt! All hosted by the mean and lean Jones Yard Dog aka MF Jones AKA Chainsaw!

You can bet that we’re bringing in a ring for this, brothers and sisters. So get yourself a costume from places like Gotcha, one of the great vintage clothing stores in town….or a place called the internet. See you there BROTHER!

6 Things To Do This Holiday Season at The Note

Christmas is right around the corner and here at The Blue Note and Rose, we have a lineup of festive events that you won’t want to miss.

1. 80s vs. 90s: Ugly Christmas Sweater Ball

‘Tis the season for ugly holiday sweaters. Why not celebrate by donning your favorite one and getting down to some tunes? Oh, and did I mention that it’s FREE if you wear an ugly sweater to the event?

2. Christmas Brew ‘N View: Elf

This movie never gets old. Not only has it become a holiday classic, but Buddy the Elf is a staple of my childhood memories of the holidays. So let’s all get together, eat candy canes, drink syrup (and beer), go ice skating, eat a roll of Toll House cookies as fast as we can and to top it all off, snuggle and watch Elf together.

3. Jingle Bell Classic Rock

This classic rock holiday kickoff is much more than just a rocking show with Columbia’s finest, it is also a benefit for the food bank. Columbia’s own DISENGAGED will be rocking your socks off with special guest Rock Steady. So come spread some holiday cheer and help support an amazing cause!

4. Chump Change Holiday Celebration

If you’ve been doing a little too much jingle bell rockin’, come groove to Chump Change’s smooth sound and swing-era style before ringing in the New Year.

5. Rose NYE 2017

Need another great way to spend you New Year’s in Columbia? How about going to watch some of the best bands in town. Don’t Mind Dying, The Flood Brothers, The Kay Brothers and Paul Weber & The Scrappers will all be at Rose and tickets are only $5!

6. Decadance

It’s the night we’ve all been waiting for — the end of 2016! New Years Eve is meant for dancing and good music and that’s exactly what we planned.

DJ Requiem and Jen Ha will take you on a musical dance journey through the decades. You’ll hear everything from Louis Armstrong to Elvis and the Beatles, to Sam Cooke, to the Temptations and James Brown, to the Bee Gees to Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Jay-Z, Sia, Biggie, Justin Timberlake, OutKast, Drake, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Daft Punk, and so much more. Just to name a few.

See you there 🎉
