This Thursday, Niykee Heaton, aka America’s #WCW, is bringing The Bedroom Tour to CoMo! Although she has over 2.1 million Instagram followers, the Geneva, IL native is more than just a pretty face. The girl’s got PIPES.

The half-South African singer grew up listening to Bob Dylan and learning to sing from a Diana Ross Greatest Hits album before discovering Lil Jon and her love of hip-hop at age 10. She then taught herself to play guitar and started turning rap hits like “Or Nah” and  “The Motto” into acoustic ballads on Youtube. Her big break came when her cover of Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa” went viral on WorldStarHiphop and was noticed by DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, and Chief Keef himself.

Niykee quickly transitioned into sharing her own original music, which she produces, writes, sings and performs. She describes her sound as “folk, rhythm, and Shakespeare sonnets mixed with Kanye trap beats.” Niykee is also all about her fanbase, known as Naturyl Born Killers or NBK, and has said that she prefers to keep her music more generalized and about emotions, moods or a vibe fans can relate to, rather than subjects specific to only her.

Nowadays, Niykee receives over 1.5 million monthly plays on Spotify and has worked with Mike Posner and Sammy Adams (who were both just at the Blue Note!), as well as T.Mills, and most notably Migos, on her most well-known song to date “Bad Intentions.”

A must-listen song from Niykee’s newest release “The Bedroom Tour Playlist” is “Devil”, which Niykee describes as AC/DC meets Juicy J.

Whatever song you choose to listen to, Niykee is super talented and will definitely be putting on an amazing show! Stream her album below and I dare you NOT to immediately buy a ticket. See you Thursday!
