9th Street Summerfest Q&A

Q: How much does it cost?

A: It’s FREE! No tickets necessary. Just show up and bring your ID & beer money!

Q: Is it rain or shine?

A: Yes! There is a roof to protect the bands’ equipment from a light sprinkle. Have no fear, the show will go on!

Q: When & where can I get in?

A: Gates open at 6 PM at the intersection of 9th & Walnut.

Q: What are set times?

A: Overton Landing takes the stage at 7:30 PM, Streets of Laredo at 8:15 PM, then Shakey Graves at 9:30 PM. Music won’t go past 11PM.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: If you want! 9th Street Summerfest is an all ages event.

Q: Can I bring a chair or something to sit down on?

A: Please don’t bring any chairs on blankets onto 9th Street itself, unless you’re required to sit. You won’t be able to see the stage while sitting.

Q: So Shakey Graves is playing a FREE CONCERT on 9th Street and I’m ready to drink! Is that allowed?

A: You bet it is! Be sure to get a 21+ wristband at the gate. We will have several bars set up outside on 9th Street serving beer & wine. If you want hard alcohol, the bar inside The Blue Note will be open.

Q: This sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?

A: There isn’t! We just want to share our passion for live music with our community – and what better way of doing so than by throwing a FREE concert in the middle of downtown? Come party with us and live it up! #livetonight
