Halloween is a special time of year when we all enjoy eating way too much candy and re-watching Hocus Pocus and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Or maybe that’s just me. But one thing we all love to do on Halloween is dress up in a sweet outfit, whether we are going out to a party or getting yelled at by homeowners for “being too old to trick-or-treat” (what does that even mean??)

So why not get rewarded for your sweet ass Bane costume? Wouldn’t you want recognition and awesome prizes for your fine craftsmanship in putting together that Buffy the Vampire Slayer outfit? Don’t people deserve to see you rock that Jack Skellington make up?

What if you could get all that and more, set to the music of Pink Floyd? And maybe throw in a little movie magic with the classic Wizard of Oz? Well don’t worry your hockey masked head, because The Blue Note, KCMQ and Interstellar Overdrive have you covered this Halloween with their Dark Side of the Oz concert and costume contest.

Interstellar Overdrive will play hits from Pink Floyd’s acclaimed discography. You can expect favorites from The Wall or Wish You Were Here to make an appearance. Then “The Authentic Pink Floyd Tribute” will play the legendary Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, synced to The Wizard of Oz.

The Halloween Bash will also include a costume photo booth, to capture your Orange is the New Black costume in all its glory.

Make sure to stop by The Blue Note this Halloween for the prog rock and costume festivities. You can order tickets online at The Blue Note’s website.
